Helping families, protecting children

In a nation of increasing violence and crime, keeping children safe must be a top priority. For more than 25 years, Exploited Children’s Help Organization (ECHO) has worked to protect the children of Kentuckiana.

A volunteer-based non-profit organization, ECHO provides over a dozen services in the areas of prevention, education and coping,  From school programs like Teens Keeping Kids Safe, Personal Safety and Internet safety to KidSafe booths and a Family Court Playroom, ECHO offers prevention education for all ages.

In 2008 alone, 129 volunteers gave 3,060 hours of their time providing education, prevention and victim assistance to 33,458 children. The organization is a well-respected partner of the Louisville Metro Police Department and the Jefferson County Courts, striving to address the needs of missing or abused children and their families.

ECHO could not function and grow without the constant help and unselfish gifts of our volunteers, donors and board members. We are truly grateful, and hope that more individuals will choose to help so that we can continue to touch the lives of children and families in need.

With your charitable donation, many more children will be protected from victimization. Thanks for making ECHO a non-profit organization that truly can meet the needs of children throughout Kentuckiana!
